01Data controller

Hacienda LB Partners, S. de R.L. de C.V. (RFC HLP2103034WA), which operates the Vela Loreto hotel, located at Calle Paseo Misión de Loreto 559, Col. Única, Nopoló, Loreto, Baja California Sur, C.P. 23887, México, is responsible for processing your personal data.

02Data we collect

Identification and contact data (name, email, phone) and details of your stay or event (dates, number of guests, preferences) that you provide through the site forms or when booking.

03Purposes

Required purposes: managing your booking, answering your contact, tour and event quote requests, and assisting you during your stay.

Secondary purposes: sending you hotel offers and news. If you don’t want your data used for this, email frontdesk@velaloreto.com.

04Transfers

To serve you, some providers process your data on our behalf and only for these purposes: the online booking engine, our email provider, this site’s hosting and the analytics tools described below.

If you request a tour, we share your name, contact details, dates and party size with Aventuras Tours, the tour operator next to the lobby, to arrange the trip. We may also share data with authorities when required by law.

We do not sell your data or transfer it to third parties for purposes other than those described without your consent.

05Vela Club

If you create a Vela Club account, the hotel’s members program, we keep your name, email, language, the preferences you choose (how you travel, interests, occasions, anniversary month and favorite room), your stay history and the credits we issue to you. We use them to let you sign in with an emailed code, work out your tier, apply your benefits and get ready for your arrival. You can close your account or ask us to delete this data by emailing frontdesk@velaloreto.com.

06ARCO rights

You can access, rectify, cancel or object to the processing of your data, or withdraw your consent, by emailing frontdesk@velaloreto.com.

Your request must include your name, an official ID (or your representative’s, with proof of representation), the right you want to exercise and a clear description of the data involved. We will reply within 20 business days and, if applicable, carry out your request within the following 15 business days.

07Cookies and analytics

The site uses analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity) to understand how it is used. Clarity anonymously records clicks, scrolling and page journeys, without storing what you type into forms. The location map only loads from Google Maps when you ask for it.

Your browser stores, with no personal data, your last date search, the tours you add and which sections of the site you visit (weddings, tours, dining, rooms). We use it to show you what interests you most on your next visit. It never leaves your browser and is not shared; it clears itself over time or when you clear the site data.
